The Jordan 1 Mid SE Paris YMCA is a special-edition sneaker that finds inspiration in the oldest basketball court in Paris. This basketball court can be found in the basement of the Paris YMCA and was opened in 1893.
The sneaker features an earthy colorway that matches tones found on the basketball court, including the hardwood floors and off-white walls. The upper is made of leather in Sand Drift, while the leather and suede overlays feature Earth and Velvet Brown. The leather heel counter displays a woven pattern, which resembles the basketball court’s parquet floors. This woven pattern can also be found behind the Jumpman logo, on the tongue’s logo tag. Other branding details include the Jordan Wings logo on the heel and the leather Swoosh logos across the side panels.
