The Jordan 13 Retro Wheat (2023) (GS), in grade school sizes, features beige synthetic suede paneling and white tufted leather over a smooth, white leather base.
The Air Jordan 13 derives its namesake from the fact that it was Michael Jordan’s thirteenth signature basketball shoe, debuting in 1997 as Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls prevailed in the NBA Finals. The Wheat color palette originally debuted in 2004, and aspects of the shoe’s design feature Michael Jordan’s significations, such as the number 23, his number while playing for the Bulls. The Air Jordan Jumpman logo is embroidered in Wheat’s golden hue on the tongue, and number 23 branding appears on the outer collar. The midsole is encased in Wheat synthetic suede, featuring Air-sole cushioning, and the outsole has a grip tread with an additional Jumpman logo insert in green.
